Engagement or divestment? A thought piece on what's most effective

Bill Bovingdon at Altius Asset Management recently posted an excellent blog investigating what works best to pressure companies and banks for stronger climate change and ESG outcomes. The blog suggests that there is now an argument for engagement over divestment by responsible investors to wield their power with mainstream businesses as regulation and best practise standards begin to catch up with ethical and impact investment directives.
