IPCC scientists deliver 'final warning' on climate crisis: act now or it's too late
Scientists have delivered a “final warning” on the climate crisis as rising greenhouse gas emissions push the world to the brink of irrevocable damage that they say only swift and drastic action can avert. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), made up of the world’s leading climate scientists, spent years compiling impact data for their landmark report in late March. Tucked away in the report, however, is a hopeful road map outlining with extraordinary clarity the potential for emissions cuts of more than 40 options to help us reduce emissions globally.
